Celebrating the Life of Al Thompson
We gather in silence to remember and celebrate the
life of Al Thompson. We come to share our memories,
thoughts and feelings. Friends believe that there is that
of God in everyone. Today we seek to mark that of God
that lived in Al and to affirm those things we now
carry with us.
The responsibility for the spiritual depth of this meeting
rests with each attender. Those who keep silence as well
as those who give a vocal message do their part when
they yield their minds and hearts to the guidance of the
Spirit.
As we wait in expectant silence, we may be moved to
share a message. Please speak clearly and without undue
length, being mindful that others may be moved to share.
Everyone participates equally; all are welcome to speak.
You may be moved to share prayers, poems, anecdotes or
a song.
We will worship for about an hour after which the convener will close the worship.
